  • Mike Lindell used a recent appearance to claim once again that US election votes were miscalculated.
  • “The real totals are: Donald Trump 80 million and Biden less than 68 million,” said Lindell.
  • His claims were met with cheers even though he failed to provide any evidence.

MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell has used an appearance at the rightwing conference to make more unsubstantiated claims about voter fraud in the 2020 election.

Lindell said that the “real totals” from the 2020 election show that former President Donald Trump garnered 80 million votes while President Joe Biden gained fewer than 68 million votes. However, he failed to provide any evidence to back up his claims.

Newsweek reported that at the ReAwaken American tour, Lindell said: “I will tell you this. The real totals is Donald Trump 80 million and Biden less than 68 million—that's the real totals.”

His claims were then followed by loud applause from the audience.

This is the latest in a series of baseless claims made by Lindell about the 2020 elections.

Biden won the 2020 presidential race with more 81 million votes. Trump fell behind with around 74 million votes. But since the victory, Lindell has been a leading voice in repeatedly spreading fraud conspiracies that the election was rigged and “stolen” from Trump.

In December 2020, Lindell said that “the biggest fraud is the Dominion machines.” The conspiracy theory that Dominion's technology switched votes from Trump to President Joe Biden has been thoroughly debunked, however.

Earlier in June, Lindell continued to spread false allegations of voter fraud about voting-machine company Smartmatic. Since then, his claims have spurred on a multi-billion-dollar legal battle between Lindell and the two voting-machine companies.

His conspiracies even go as far as to suggest that Trump will be reinstated as president on August 13. Speaking to Brannon Howse on the conservative WVW Broadcast Network on Sunday, the pillow pundit said that by that date Trump's reinstatement would “be the talk of the world.”

There is no legal path for Trump to be reinstated, however, as Insider's Jake Lahut and Grace Panetta reported.
