  1. So, what's stopping schools from simply raising their tuition and boarding costs up another $10k? Throwing money at things blindly doesn't just solve things. Just means someone is getting richer.

  2. forgiving loan debt has to come from the bank that lent it. they would have to give up their claim to collect it.
Useing money to 'pay that debt off to the lender for someone, requires a declaration where, what or who is paying it.

  3. If millionaires and billionaires were getting bailed out by a republican they'd have no problem with it, just like in 2008, Obama did the same thing in 2009 and they threw a fit despite the fact that he saved us from a depression.

  4. We are not voting democrats in November, only a fool would vote to live in Poverty, because that is where the democrats are taking the country if we are crazy enough to continue with the democrats

  5. The people should sue to have all the ppp loans repaid and not forgiven. Double standards for the rich. I don’t own a business. Not fair that Marjory Taylor Green gets almost $200k forgiven. How hypocritically disgusting 🤮

  6. What hypocrisy..!
While the GOP will likely challenge Biden’s student loan forgiveness plan in court, the juxtaposition remains. Other Republican members of Congress who fall in this camp include:

Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Florida) with a $476,000 loan

Rep. Greg Pence (R-Indiana) for $79,441

Rep. Vern Buchanan (R-Florida) for $2.8 million

Rep. Kevin Hern (R-Oklahoma) for $1.07 million

Rep. Roger Williams (R-Texas) for $1.43 million

Rep. Brett Guthrie (R-Kentucky) for $4.3 million

Rep. Ralph Norman (R-South Carolina) for $306,520

Rep. Mike Kelly (R-Pennsylvania) for $974,100

Rep. Vicki Hartzler (R-Missouri) for $451,200

Rep. Markwayne Mullin (R-Oklahoma) for $988,700

Rep. Carol Miller (R-West Virginia) for $3.1 million
