  1. Schools shouldn't spank, but there is nothing wrong with parents spanking their kids. Doesn't mean you're beating them, but let's be honest…. There are so many kids who need it. Time outs and taking things away might work for some, but the kids who literally don't care need to be smacked once to learn.

  2. Most internet users would be too young to know things like this, but back in my Great Grandfathers day, being left handed was considered demonic by some Churches. My Pop was left handed and his left hand was way gnarlier than his right. When he was caught trying to write with his left hand teachers would whack his hand with a ruler or set square. Some times so hard it repeatedly broke fingers or knuckles. To the day he died, he still wrote terribly with his right hand, but wouldn't use his left.
Fuck the Church when they tell you they know anything. He lived to 93 and no-one ever saw him do anything 'Demonic'. Because he told me that story, I ask other older folk about it, and many have witnessed the same crap.

  3. Corporal punishment makes children violent and further traumatizes children who lived through abuse like sexual *abuse. Edit: Let's call corporal punishment what it really is; child abuse

  4. Why would you wish physical pain, or the threat thereof on children, especially if you felt it yourself? Disgusting people.. touch my child, you'll not have to worry about your own future anymore…

  5. I used to live down south and was a thing when I was in grade school. Never been used on me, but what if I took that paddle and started whooping the shit out of these abusive teachers?… I'm instantly a criminal! I don't know anyone in Missouri, so fuck anyone there that supports this! As some one who has been abused as a child I know. It starts off with time out and then goes to a few smacks on your ass, and then it just explodes to full on assault. To these parents that are ok. with this, I have to say; Don't let other people hit your kids! You're likely already doing enough damage to them!!
