  1. Yeah first amendment, don't you get it??? Keep religion OUT OF POLITICS!!!!!!!!!   Good without god?? Harvey is an idiot!  period!! God murders millions, condones rape, condones slavery, what morals are these?????????????????  Lets look at China, almost 100% Atheist, stable country, in a few years from now, WILL PASS US BY!!!!!  Maybe even land on Mars before us. Denmark????? another country highly Atheist, PROSPEROUS TOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  You religious wackos remind me of an Ostrich, you have your head buried in the sand, it sure isn't buried in the bible where you would read about god's morals.  Sick.

  2. It is sooo difficult for religious People to accept or give the benefit of Doubt to non religious People that they could have a genuine Sense of Moral and Ethical behaviour… that hinders always an Intellectual progress in a society

  3. There would be less rapists if they were sentenced to death by public stoning. That's a biblical standard. We could also stone all these priests, pastor's and supposed ministers of God who do the same. That would be a GOOD thing.

  4. Their authoritarians. They simply cannot imagine a world where morality isn't dictated. It's never, to the right, structure society in a way that encourages everyone's best behavior. It's always the stick, even when the stick has been shown to not work. They never want to bias the table towards the most desirable goals.
Who's to say Harvey Weinstein was wrong? Well, I am, and judging from how many people agree that he's wrong, I'm probably correct in my thinking. Most of us think that a speed limit of 65-70 mph is about right. We arrive at that without any supernaturalism or real or imagined dictator telling us.

Lot was a "righteous man." That's not my opinion. That's what it says in the bible. Lot also got drunk and had sex with his daughters, who had prior offered to an angry mob to gangbang. Maybe Harvey Weinstein read the bible and rather than coming to his own conclusions about morality, used Jeffress' holy book to decide that God wanted him to sexually molest those women. A Walmart shooter last week in Colorado apparently thought God wanted him to go on a shooting spree in Walmart so it's not like people don't apply Jeffress' thinking and come to less than ideal conclusions about morality. The bible also very explicitly prohibits the consumption of pork, while, at the same time not explicitly prohibiting rape. Harvey didn't break a single commandment. On the other hand, liberal morality tends to be based largely on the concept of fairness. No one can argue that what Harvey did to those women was fair.

Jeffress, like the President he serves, is a turd.

  5. I don't remember when studying US History anything about the country being based on Christianity. Most founders were Diest and believed in separation of church and state with freedom of or from religion.

  6. When he said secularists believe you can follow your own beliefs, he left out the part "as long as it doesn't harm others"
I like also when he says that none of us want a state religion. We left Europe to get away from state religions…but we are a Christian Nation. Brilliant. :/

  7. This is what happens when religion and politics merge. The sad part is that all this has been foretold by the OG conservative Barry Goldwater.
It is true that he is an avid racist standing in opposition of racial integration and the passing of the 1964 Civil Rights Act, but he knew that religious groups, mainly the religious right are so uncompromising in their position that any attempt to give the religious right political power would undermine our democracy.

He pretty much sums up the current state of the Republican party from his 1994 Washington Post interview:

"When you say "radical right" today, I think of these moneymaking ventures by fellows like Pat Robertson and others who are trying to take the Republican party and make a religious organization out of it. If that ever happens, kiss politics goodbye."

  8. I think he's right.

If the damn secularists hadn't come in and burst open the christian upper echelons, things like weinstein and the church's child rape scandal would be ongoing and untalked of.

  9. You want truth, here is the fucking truth organized religion have a hard on for dark ages, with all its plagues, witch hunts and popes that have incest with their own fucking daughters(Check out Borgia I kid you fucking not)

  10. Christians in America are Satanist posing as godly people. Same people that crucified Christ. Atheists think they're taking shots at Christ theology when exposing these people. They don't realize that dogmatic closed minded religious people are the ones that hated Christ and killed him…. Not secularist. Secularist could care less. It was the Pharisees that hated Christs movement… And it's the exact same today. As a follower of Christ i don't call these people my brothers and sisters.
