  1. I will add that shaping your audience's thought is an integral part of building an audience for television news.
If your audience is homogenous in thought, it's easier to say things they will all like, and easier to market to them.

  2. CNN does the same thing. So does msnbc. They all slant the news. Opionated. News. I hardly watch the news any more. You can't get the honest facts all you get is there opinions. I watch. The real news like gas prices. Or building supply prices. Or. Inflation. Prices at grocery store s or restaurants. And. I keep an eye on foreign affairs. To some degree.

  3. What Larry Flint said about Jerry Falwell Sr. was hyperbole and funny and no reasonable person would believe it what Fox "news" pushed was defamatory.

I hope a judge writes that in a judgment against Fox. 😂!

  4. Dominion and Fox are playing a game of chicken. The stakes are so high that no courts even the Supreme Court has never thrown a case out on the evidence, only standing. Which isn't a valid reason, if we are the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, what one state does affects the others. I don't think any judges and courts in the land want to be the focus of such a potentially reality exposing truth.

  5. So glad that FOX is getting the ‘Fickle Finger of Fate’ award (Laugh-In)…… they deserve it, Big Time. I avoid their channel, have no respect for their so-called ‘News’ reporting…GAG🤢‼️

  6. Crack dealers have a great marketing strategy. Just give people a taste. Perhaps we should celebrate them for their cleverness and strategies. Buyer beware. After all, aren't pimps just a measure of God's providence and grace? Don't they provide an invaluable service to those who need it?

  7. Here's a sweet deal of a settlement that fox might actually be tempted to take.. dominion holds at 1.6 billion, yet due to the settlement they avoid discovery which is priceless for Fix. That alone actually might be worth it to Fox at this stage, lol. Dominion ought to actually Sue and hold out for exactly this. They've got a damn near a guaranteed win should it go to trial anyway.

  8. Proverbs 22:1 – “A good name is to be chosen rather than great riches…”
Regardless of any financial settlement, Dominion should require Fox News to spend twice as much air time apologizing and retracting their false claims as they spent defaming Dominion’s reputation. They should also require Fox News to to have a retraction and apology at the top every page on their website and social media pages. Money is not enough. Justice demands full exposure and admittance of guilt.

  9. Important fact about Fox— 90% of their revenue comes from paid subscriptions. This subscription is built into basic cable subscription packages. That means that even though you don’t watch Fox News, if you have basic cable $2.50!of your cable bill goes to Fox each month!!! That is the second highest compensation from the Cable stations behind ESPN! The good news— Fox has to renew its contract this coming year. Just like Fox viewers demanded it be included in basic cable, you can also contact your cable provider and demand not to pay for Fox. If enough people do this, Fox is again beholden to their advertisers, which has been dwindling substantially since many companies don’t want to be associated with their propaganda. Let’s get Fox News where it hurst—in their pocket!!!!

  10. I hope they don't settle and get all the dirt that the general public never see's out in plain view so these dweebs that think Fox news is "fair and balanced" find out it is hyperbolic Bull Sh*t.

  11. Given the nature of the injury (reputational), I can't imagine Dominion settling without extracting an effective apology from Fox. For an apology to make Dominion whole would require protracted effort. In other words, Fox will need to convince its viewers that what they told them (or shamelessly insinuated) about Dominion was not true. They will need to convince their viewers they've been lied to. Fox might want to roll the dice on a court case. In fact, they might prefer to pay the billion plus to avoid exposing themselves to their audience.

  12. The bigger decision was that each individual Fox Host being sued can proceed. Fox may settle, if Dominion will settle, but the suits against Tucker, Hannity and the others can keep going. Dominion may take a billion to endlessly fund the litigation against the idiot Trump lawyers and pillow salesman

  13. I listened to an interview with an ex Australian prime minister who has known Rupert Murdock for 40 years. He said all Murdock is interested in is power, that is his sole motivation. Murdock wanted Trump in the White House purely for power and status. Fox was his vehicle to achieve this. America is being played by a foreign entities all right but it is not just China or Russia but by a very rich old man’s lust for power and in trump he has found the perfect vehicle.

  14. For myself, I'd love to see a settlement offer that requires Faux Noise to publicly admit to everything – the advantage they'd get is limiting the financial damage to a known amount because who knows what the judge is going to do when they're found guilty. And Dominon have a perfect reason – Fox allegedly smeared Dominion's reputation, the only way to REMEDY that is to either have Fox found guilty of doing that, or for them to be forced to admit it in public. Oh, and the statement – with supporting EVIDENCE, thank you – must meet Dominion's approval before release to count.

  15. I hope Dominion does not settle and forces this crap-show network to make a very public and humiliating apology and take every cent they can get from Murdoch! Let that be a shot over the bow to the other right-wing yahoos in media!

  16. FOX news vs. CNN/MSNBC/NBC/CBS/ABC. What a bizarre time when all their headlines are calling out each other instead of doing the work at hand. It's all about ratings which the legacy media is suffering mightily. Congrats on your independent media success. I just hope you don't label all conservatives/republicans and/or all liberals/leftist into same pales as you are obviously way too smart to play that game. Good luck and keep'm coming.

  17. Fox needs to pay. They need to be taken to task for their bullshit, their lies and their inciting of the kind of dangerous thinking that helped lead to January 6th. And Dominion is now in the position to ensure they do.
