  22. If you're pointing your finger at one side, you're missing the big picture. When it comes to the average American's understanding of the 1st Amendment, rather than use critical thinking they choose to believe our news providers are being held responsible in objectively informing the public. “Fox News” is a cable channel brand name, and unlike broadcast TV, the only qualification Rupert's media corporation has or needs to be considered cable “News” is simply saying so. The US has freedom of speech and freedom of the press, therefore the FCC does not supervise cable news network’s content, and has no say over brand names. 

    If we're being honest here, all the major cable news networks are for profit entities and owned by huge corporations. These corporate media conglomerates have total freedom over their news and editorial content with only tacit viewer oversight on their accuracy. Not only has corporate cable "news" become shamelessly overt in their political bias, while serving their own corporate political interests, they're earning massive profits with their prime time party propaganda shows. Whether spreading disinformation under the guised of news, or paintings figures on cave walls, media has always been used to influence public opinion. Politics is the art of manufacturing consent by influencing public opinion. In this new age of subjective reason and iReality, there is no need for critical thinking in politics, or even questioning your own party's motivations.

  27. Trump gave away everything to North Korea and got nothing in return. The latest intelligence reports show that NK is advancing their nuclear weapons development faster now than ever before. And of course they would when that's what got them the prestige of meeting the president of the U.S.
