  1. Parents need to bring back spanking instead of letting their kids run all over them and turn out to be the little animals we have running around now.

  2. Wow, as a European I am always shocked about the primitivism in some parts of the USA. Interesting how a country can have some of the best and the worst going on at the same time in the same place. People who hit their children are incapable, too uneducated and too stupid to find humane solutions like talking, explaining, patience and love. They should definitely not have any children at all.

People, please take the pill. Do not have children when you are mentally ill yourself.

  3. Lots of pediphile people in this system are happy to abuse this to get their hands on the kids they desire the most. Noone is talking about that. Only "iT tHouGht mE ThE rESpecT KiDs TheSe dAyS aRe MisSinG"

  4. I agree with bringing this back, however I did have an abusive teacher that would spank me and another guy all the time for stupid things. Like if I accidentally kicked the person desk in front of me, I'd get beat, or if I shuffled around in my desk to much I would get beat.
If your kid is getting hit more then several times a week or month, there should be red flags going off.

  5. I can get to a child without a paddle. I've got this look and voice that cause grown men to pee themselves and look to the ground in fear and shame for even considering to cause a scene or disruption.

  6. OK, if you really trust a complete stranger to hit your child. Those movie depictions of the school principle getting off on whacking little children with a wooden paddle are based on real experiences. Spanking only teaches children that it's OK for big people to hit little people and often represents the parent losing control of their own behavior out of anger. It doesn't instill morals or values, those are taught by example and consistent expectations with non-violent consequences for unwanted behavior. Book-burnings and corporal punishment are back! Yes, this country is certainly moving in the right direction-too bad those things never fixed anything the first time around.

  7. It always shocks me what is possible in the USA. abortion ban? spanking? Anyone can carry a gun and no health insurance? Unemployment insurance? As a European German I owe a lot to the USA, but how do you want to lead the world with such a broken value system? The truth is, nobody wants to live like in the USA and we as Europeans have to make ourselves more independent, also militarily, to defend our democratic and freedom values independently of the USA. Best regards from Europe to our American friends who are unfortunately on the wrong social path. I hope you can solve your problems!

  8. Paddle first politicians and adults to see if paddling works. Punishment never fixes anything. Love do great things. See how Mary Magdalene changed her life for the acceptance and love that Jesus showed for her.

  9. I actually agree with this because it teaches them that actions have consequences. Of course it HAS to be the last resort when all the warnings have been issued, when students bully other students or act completely defiant past the point of second chances, etc. I know a bunch of kindergartens and first grade students that we have tried every school discipline measure in the book that doesn’t include spanking but what does that teach the student? It teaches them “I can do whatever I want and nothing will happen to me.” Finally, an elderly teacher, who is more old school fashioned, did everything to get one of our worst kindies to behave, swatted him once on the bottom and he behaved.

If I have kids one day, and they misbehave after warnings, the belt on their bottoms will teach them.

  10. I think back in the days many people took spanking beyond the limit and a lot of times it was harsh and made many kids rebellious but using spanking the right way helped many kids to keep them on right track. I got spanked especially from my mom a lot but my mom was also very loving, kind and protective of me and my siblings. We joke about her wrath on us sometimes during family get together but we also thank her for disciplining us and for keeping us all on right track, I always stayed out of trouble because I knew what my mom would do if she found out, I also was very good at saying no to peer pressure. If used wisely, spanking does helps kids to stay on right track. It doesn’t work the same with every kid but works with many, it worked for me 😀. Never spank kids with anger though, or take out your anger and cause injuries, smacking/slapping them on face or punching or kicking should not be used while disciplining, when it’s done that way that becomes an abuse rather than disciplining, i have witnessed many parents hurting their kids while disciplining. There are also many ways on how to discipline kids without spanking, should try non spanking strategies first, spanking should be the last option.

  11. Brilliant. This country needs more violence, no? Yup, let’s tell the young that violence is a legitimate part of a set solutions to resolve conflicts.

You know who deserves spanking? Politicians and talking heads!

What a waste of oxygen and precious water spent on these creatures.

  12. Yup, I was a bad boy and got licks through junior high school. In the hand you got the long ruler and the paddle on the butt. Then when I got home, I got it from mom too because the school called my mom. God rest your soul mom. I miss you so much and the good ole days. I didn't turn out too bad though. Thanks mom. Lol Jimbo Mexican American, former US Navy radioman petty officer 86-96.

  13. Children if you beat by you school call the FBI and say your school if Condoning child abuse and so it Fox News. Inform the fbi and them arrest those involved your family members, schools employees and so on!!!

  14. Never had it when I went to school, it was the fear of my parents finding out we were playing up at school that kept me following reasonable instructions from my teachers. I didn't blindly follow everything they said, if there was something I disagreed with I would argue the point because I knew its something my parents would not stand for either.

  15. I remember when I was spanked at school , the paddle with the holes. I received the. Belt when I went home.
I learned very quickly theres a consequence for my actions.
